And he's still turning whiskey into toys!
What started out as an off-the-cuff comment to a friend about how "the good stuff" just randomly appears on our doorstep -- kind of like Whiskey Santa -- turned into a thing.
And now it's our thing. And it's the best thing ever.
Why?
Because EVVVVVVERBODY is looking for allocated whiskey. But no store gets enough to go around and there is no possible way to please everyone. So what do you do with what little you get? Why not use it to spread some holiday cheer and, maybe, just maybe, make the holidays a little bit brighter for those less fortunate? Sounds like a helluva plan if you ask us!
We set aside most of the bottles we get throughout the year and give everyone a fair chance to buy it thru a raffle system. If we pick your name, you get the opportunity to buy a bottle at REGULAR RETAIL PRICES! But... there's a twist. You MUST open the bottle in our store. The last thing we want is these bottles going to resellers and this seems to be the only way to assure that doesn't happen.
The best part though? We take the proceeds from this event, fill up shopping carts full of toys and donate them to Toys-for-Tots. “Wait... whiskey saves Christmas for kids??? Who knew?!”

Sweet. I entered. When does this go down?
We’ll collect all the entries (online, in-store and Rewards Members’ bonus entries) at the close of business on Sunday, December 21st. We will randomly draw as many winners as we have bottles and begin notifying them via email or text on Monday, December 22nd. We will begin selling the bottles on a first come, first served basis on Tuesday, December 23rd. Every winner may purchase one bottle but must open the bottle after purchase. This is not legal advice (and always consult with your attorney if you have questions), but yes, it’s legal to transport an open container of alcohol in your vehicle as long as it’s in the trunk and not accessible to the driver (in Minnesota).
Any fine print?
Not really. Just be cool and try to help us spread some good vibes this holiday season. I guess we reserve the right to change or cancel this promotion at any time but why would we? It kicks ass!
