Who we are

Lakeridge Liquors is a Minnesota-licensed, independently owned liquor store operating at 101 Vadnais Blvd W, Vadnais Heights, MN 55127. "We," "us," and "our" refer to Lakeridge Liquors. "You" means anyone who visits our website or shops with us.

What we collect

We try to collect as little as possible. In practice, that includes:

• Information you give us directly. When you fill out our product request form, employment application, or email us, you provide us with your name, contact details, and whatever information you share in the request itself.
• Point-of-sale transaction data. When you shop in person, our Toast point-of-sale system records the products purchased, price, tax, and payment method. Card data is handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
• Rewards program data. If you enroll in our loyalty program, we retain your name, phone number, and purchase history so we can credit points and send occasional program updates.
• Automatic website data. When you visit lakeridgeliquor.com, our servers and our analytics tools receive standard information such as IP address (typically truncated), device and browser type, referring page, pages viewed, and general geographic region.
• Cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for the full list. This includes a first-party cookie set by our age-affirmation splash so you are not prompted again on every page.

How we use it

• To respond to your questions, product requests, and job applications.
• To process in-store transactions and administer our rewards program.
• To improve the website, understand which content is useful, and fix problems.
• To send occasional email or SMS updates you have signed up for (deals, new arrivals, events). You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To meet our legal, tax, and licensing obligations as a Minnesota liquor retailer.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with vendors that help us run the business and only for that purpose:

• Toast — point-of-sale, payment processing, and loyalty.
• Netlify — website hosting and form submission delivery.
• Google (Analytics) — aggregate website usage statistics.
• Klaviyo or a comparable email/SMS platform — sending the marketing messages you have opted in to receive.
• Our internal purchasing and receiving systems — hosted on infrastructure we control at os.lakeridgeliquor.com. Product request and employment application forms are proxied to that system so you never leave our domain.

We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or a legitimate request from Minnesota or federal authorities.

Analytics & advertising

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish visitors and pages; the data is aggregate and does not identify you personally to us. You can opt out at the browser level using Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.

We may run advertising campaigns on Meta (Facebook / Instagram) and Google. These platforms may set their own cookies when you follow a link from an ad to our site. We do not currently run cross-site retargeting from our own website, but if that changes we will update this policy and the Cookie Policy.

Your choices

• Email or SMS marketing: unsubscribe with the link in any message, or email us at VH@lakeridgeliquor.com.
• Analytics cookies: block them in your browser settings or with the Google opt-out linked above.
• Access, correction, deletion: email us and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Virginia, or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and to appeal a denial. Minnesota's consumer data privacy law (effective July 31, 2025) provides similar rights to Minnesota residents; you can exercise them the same way.

Age & minors

Our website and our store serve adults of legal drinking age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security & retention

We use standard technical and administrative safeguards to protect the information we hold. No online service is perfectly secure, but we limit access to information on a need-to-know basis, encrypt data in transit, and keep it only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected (or as required by law — for example, sales tax records).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page will change when we do. Material changes will be reflected on the site and, if appropriate, communicated by email to customers who have given us an address.
