How Lakeridge Liquors employees sign up for texts about their work schedule, open shifts, and time off.

Lakeridge Beverage LLC dba Lakeridge Liquors texts employees who ask for it about their schedule, shifts that need cover, and time-off requests. Texts are only for employees 21 or older, and we verify age before anyone is signed up. Texting is optional and not a condition of employment. Opting in from the employee app

Employees sign in to our employee app and open My Schedule. Until they opt in, this card sits at the top of the page. They enter their cell number, type their birth date (MM/DD/YYYY), and check the box themselves. The box starts unchecked, and the Turn on texts button stays off until a full birth date is entered and the box is checked.

Age check: the app works out the employee's age from the typed birth date. Anyone under 21 is turned away with a message and is not signed up. We don't store the birth date; we save only that age was verified, plus the date, time, and version of the wording they agreed to.

After they opt in

Tapping Turn on texts saves the number and consent, shows a confirmation on screen, and sends this welcome text right away. Employees who opt in on the paper form get the same text once a manager records the form.

Getting help or opting out

  • Reply HELP to any text for help, or call 651.483.6272.
  • Reply STOP to any text to stop, or tap Turn off in My Schedule.
  • Every text starts with "Lakeridge Liquors."

Paper consent form

For employees without an app login. Print it, have the employee fill in their birth date and sign it, and keep it on file. A manager checks that the birth date shows 21 or older, then records it in the employee's profile. Under 21: the form is not accepted.
